Not everyone needs a big build, and this project shows how much you can get from a smaller footprint. Our clients wanted an affordable, self-contained dwelling in the backyard without crowding the existing home — so we designed a neat, well-proportioned layout with its own entry, a bright living area and private bedrooms. It is a great example for anyone looking to build a bit smaller: lower cost, less land used, and none of the comfort sacrificed.
