How this build came together

Rob and Holly wanted to build a functional, beautiful home on their Carrara property for their son and his partner. The goal was to keep the family close while providing complete privacy for both households. They needed a custom design that could fit seamlessly into a tight backyard footprint without feeling compromised.
The site required some clever navigating right from the initial DA. We had to carefully coordinate compliance and fencing certifications around their existing outdoor spa so the new roofline could integrate with it cleanly under one roof.
As Rob noted: "From the very first meeting with Greg, the process was clear and easy to understand. Once we settled on a design, it was full steam ahead. We could not believe how organised the Kiadom team were."
The final result is a premium two-bedroom home featuring an open kitchen and lounge that flows onto a beautiful Merbau and stainless steel deck overlooking the green space. Finished inside with custom white plantation shutters, the bungalow doesn't feel out of place—it feels like a natural extension of the main house.
