How this build came together
When Keith and Maureen decided to downsize, standard unit living, with its body corporate politics, endless levies, and lack of privacy, just didn't stack up. They wanted a smarter alternative: a setup that delivered all the benefits of a low-maintenance lifestyle, plus the invaluable advantage of multi-generational living so they could stay close to family for support as they age.
Building a custom secondary dwelling on their son Justin's quiet Bonogin acreage was the ideal solution. The Kiadom team fast-tracked the build to completion in just 8 weeks, handing over the keys right in time for the family to celebrate Good Friday together.
The custom two-bedroom design blends country charm with modern practicality, featuring an expansive entertaining deck, an attached carport, and a bright open-plan living space. Designed with long-term comfort in mind, the generous master suite easily accommodates specialised care equipment, paired with a custom accessible bathroom. Today, Keith and Maureen enjoy full independence and secluded acreage views, with the total peace of mind that family is just a short walk up the driveway.
