How this build came together

Grant and Rachel came to us with a clear family goal: create a spacious, independent, and comfortable home on their property for Grant's mother. The focus of the Logan Village project was to deliver a generous living space that allowed for seamless multi-generational living while preserving privacy for both households.
The property presented some tough planning hurdles right at the start due to strict council flood overlays. Getting the project approved required a clever design approach that worked with the landscape rather than against it. We solved the compliance challenges by elevating the entire building on stumps, lifting the floor height safely above the required flood levels. To finish it off cleanly, we constructed a solid hardstand underneath, keeping the ground level neat, tidy, and easy to maintain.
Inside, Rachel did a fantastic job with the interior styling and selections. They added several thoughtful personal touches throughout, including custom kickboard LED lighting in both the kitchen and bathrooms. The soft lighting creates a striking ambient effect and really brings the cabinetry to life.
The result is a light-filled, functional, and very comfortable residence. By tackling the environmental overlays head-on, the Logan Village project delivered a stylish secondary home that Grant's mother can enjoy for years to come.
