How this build came together

Our clients came to us with a beautiful one-acre block in Willowvale and a clear lifestyle goal: a premium second dwelling that capitalised on the sprawling valley views, while integrating seamlessly with their existing swimming pool so both homes could share the space.
As experienced property flippers, they were no strangers to construction — but they knew that building on a sloping acreage site, next to established infrastructure, takes careful execution. We engineered the footprint to sit perfectly adjacent to the pool, using tiered sandstone retaining walls to level the site, handle the slope and frame the new home.
Their background gave them an exceptionally high standard for craftsmanship, so we brought in our top-tier trades to deliver a genuine high-end finish. It shows in the custom stone waterfall benchtops on the curved kitchen island, and in the large-format porcelain tiles paired with a striking backlit arch mirror in the ensuite. The layout makes the most of the acreage outlook, with soaring raked ceilings and black-framed glass sliders that open the main living spaces and master bedroom straight out to the hills.
At handover, the clients told us that building is usually stressful enough to test any marriage — but that Kiadom's project management made the whole experience seamless and "beyond expectations". They walked away with a stunning, high-spec second home that embraces its landscape, without the usual building headaches.
